Serving those who served our country proudly!
Vet Fest is a free public event dedicated to honoring and supporting our local veterans by connecting them with valuable resources, services, and community support.

This year’s event details are as follows:

Saturday, March 7th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
American Legion Niagara Frontier Post #1041
533 Amherst Street, Buffalo, NY 14207
Veterans Service Organizations and community partners will be on site providing information on services, benefits, and exclusive discounts available to those who have served our country.

In addition to resource access, veterans who attend will enjoy:

Vet Fest is a coordinated effort led by the River Rock Community Coalition (RRCC) and the Riverside Business Association (RBA). This year’s event is proudly sponsored by M&T Bank, Highmark Western New York, and additional community partners committed to supporting our veterans.
Our veterans are the backbone of our nation. Vet Fest is our way of ensuring they know their community stands with them, not just in words, but in action.

2022 Children's Holiday Party
Santa Claus, gifts & treats for our community
In a coordinated effort, the River Rock Community Coalition (RRCC), the Riverside Business Association (RBA) and the Community Police Officers (CPO) of the Buffalo Police Departments (BPD) Delta District hosted a Holiday Party for all school aged children in the Riverside-Black Rock area.
The party was held on Sunday, December 18th from 10am-12pm at the AMVETS Medallion Post 13, located at 25 Review Place, Buffalo, NY 14207. The party featured photo opportunities with Santa Clause, refreshments, snacks and a gift for every child in attendance.
The event was made possible through a grant received by the RRCC from Target's "Heroes & Helpers" program. Treats and refreshments were donated by Paula's Donuts and the RBA.

2023 Breakfast with Santa - Children's Holiday Party
Hot breakfast, cocoa, treats, Santa Claus, & gifts for our community
In a coordinated effort, the River Rock Community Coalition (RRCC), the Riverside Business Association (RBA) and the Community Police Officers (CPO) of the Buffalo Police Departments (BPD) Delta District are again hosting a Breakfast with Santa - Holiday Party for all school aged children in the Riverside-Black Rock area.
This event will be held on Sunday, December 3rd from 10am-12pm at the AMVETS Medallion Post 13, located at 25 Review Place, Buffalo, NY 14207. The event features a hot breakfast donated by Kevin's Catering, photo opportunities with Santa, refreshments, treats and a gift for every child in attendance.
The event is sponsored by Dolce Panepinto, Attorneys at Law, Mohawk Global, DiVal Safety, Highmark BCBS of WNY and also received donations from Target, Paula's Donuts and Kevin's Catering.
